Please note that this is an unpaid Volunteer position. You will not be monetarily compensated for your time, but we do offer some sweet benefits to our amazing volunteers and interns.


Background: Pitch Labs is a non-profit that is taking strides to change the face of entrepreneurship. As it stands right now, obtaining entrepreneurial knowledge can be expensive and seems only available to limited amounts of people. However, millions of entrepreneurs worldwide know that they can make innovations that will change and shape society forever. Pitch Labs is helping entrepreneurs unlock the resources they need by creating a free online library, hosting virtual events, and opening clubs in schools to allow entrepreneurs to unlock their skills and do what they are meant to do: create!

NOTE: Use of AI to write responses in your application will disqualify it from consideration.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience with blogs and research papers.
  2. Portfolio of at least 3 edited articles to be accessed.
  3. Publication on a certified website.
  4. Recommendation by a validated source.
  5. Must be U.S. based.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Communications and Journalism.
  • Fluent professional level/native in English language, written & spoken.


  • Thoroughly review and edit assigned articles.
  • Create engaging titles and meta descriptions for articles.
  • Send edited articles with complete titles /descriptions back to the writer within 3 days. (Communicate with writer regarding changes, suggestions, and/or any question the writer may have about your editing.)
  • Complete article quality google form after reviewing article.


  • Write at least 1-2 articles before becoming a full-time editor
  • Minimum weekly check in
  • Give updates on articles editing progress every 3 days.
  • Edit one article at minimum every three days.

Time Commitment: THIS IS AN UNPAID, REMOTE #WFH VOLUNTEER POSITION. Therefore we are extremely flexible with time and just ask that you contribute what you can. If you have exams, work, or family events come up, you are more than able to take a break. During times when you are an active volunteer, we ask that you simply contribute for ideally at least 6 months. This is a great position for students in school or university who want to go into a career field but want to learn more about it; you will be able to dive deeper than you have ever done before!
